To celebrate each child’s achievement in school, they are also a member of a house. As a school community, we collectively chose the names of local lakes in Milton Keynes:

Caldecotte

Willen

Furzton

Tongwell

These were selected and ratified by our school council as they celebrate our local area. We also link the houses to colours for an additional sense of belonging.

Celebration of the houses

Each week, the total of the positive points earned by each child per house is calculated. The winning house is announced in celebration assembly on a Friday. Over the year, the number of wins per house is calculated. The winning team with the most weekly wins receives a special treat at the end of the school year.
