Welcome to the summer term. We can’t believe we are now in our third and final term of year 2.
Last term was filled with exciting events such as our trip to Bletchley Park, planting an apple tree, making our own healthy wrap and a visit from the Easter bunny. In the final Friday assembly, we also won the Golden Mile Trophy with 2B!
In our first week back, we have already won the weekly class housepoints from Ms Jarman for showing excellent behaviour around the school. Keep up the fantastic work, 2A!
As ever, please make sure you are arriving at school ready to learn and with a positive attitude.
Homework
- Read as often as possible but at least four times per week.
- Each week you will be tested on a set of spellings which will be available on this page if you lose your copy.
- Your times tables will also need to be practised on TT Rock Stars. Here is the website link in case you’ve forgotten how to access it.

Monday – Outdoor
Tuesday – Indoor
Please ensure appropriate PE kit is worn. Emerald green t-shirt, black shorts and trainers. Plain black hoodies/sweatshirts and tracksuit bottoms will be needed if the weather is cold. Even if it is raining, we will still go outside for outdoor PE!
As the weather starts to warm up, please make sure you’re bringing appropriate clothing for break times with your names clearly labelled. On sunny days, please ensure you come to school wearing suncream and a hat. We do not need to reapply suncream at school.
Please also make sure you bring your water bottles.
